At HOLLY HAUS GERMAN SHEPHERDS Our focus is on producing healthy, well-tempered, confident and fearless puppies for our customers.
It all starts when the puppies are 3 days old and we begin ENS training. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) is a process we started doing that introduces mild stresses to very young puppies in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the pup's immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. Then after they begin to be weaned off of their mother feeding them, we step in and replace her as the central figure in their lives. We feed them take care of them and socialize with them. We spent a great deal of time putting our puppies into different environments with different physical and mental obstacles both inside and outdoors to challenge them. We do noise training, in that we make loud crashing noises with pots and pans to get your puppy used to loud noises when they eat so that they become in afraid as they get older and experience, fireworks, thunderstorms, or just every day loud noises.
We want your puppy to go home with you and easily transition to a new environment without fear.
We start potty training with potty trays that are lined with alfalfa pellets. The alfalfa pellets smell just like the grass that’s in your backyard.
That way when you place them in your yard they will smell the grass and know exactly what to do
Every VON HOLLY HAUS puppy gets an identification CHIP at six weeks of age so if your puppy is ever lost, and someone finds them any vet, shelter, or pet store, can scan your puppy, and know who the owner is.
All of our puppies get four rounds of deworming before they go to their new homes. The last deworming at 8 weeks of age.
Vetrinary care
All of our Dogs get a pre-breeding exam before breeding. Our females get thorough prenatal and postnatal exams.
All VON HOLLY HAUS Puppies, get a complete examination, 5-1 vaccinations, and get chipped at six weeks of age.

At VON HOLLY HAUS GERMAN SHEPHERDS our main concern is the health of our puppies.
We weigh every puppy every single day to make sure they are constantly growing. Not putting on weight is the first sign of a health issue. Every day each one of our puppies gets a probiotic to help them digest food and absorb it properly.
We make our puppy food with the finest ingredients. We could easily spend less money on quality ingredients, but we will not cut corners when it comes to the health and nutrition of our puppies.
Healthy dogs start with good nutrition when they are puppies
Cleanliness Counts !
We designed and built our new Welping box out of PVC for easy cleaning. The bedding in our box is egg carton memory foam that gives the puppies an uneven surface to sleep on so they avoid atrophy.
It is covered covered by a waterproof, washable bedding that gives the puppies a no slip surface to get traction on. There are many studies that now show that a slippery surface in the whelping box is a main contributor to hip and elbow dysplasia.
Every day at least twice a day the bedding in the welping Box is replaced with clean bedding.
When the puppies transition into the bigger puppy playpen, that pen is completely broken down, vacuumed out, mopped, scrubbed, and sanitized, and then put back together twice a day.
